Yes, but doing a thorough cleanup is very important to help prevent rust. Anytime a bike is ridden near the salt air of the ocean parts will begin to rust, but with proper care and maintenance, much of the rust can be prevented. We recommend carefully rinsing the bike off gently with fresh water after exposing the bike to these types of elements. IMPORTANT to NEVER use any sort of pressure washer or high-powered hose to wash any bicycle, especially an electric bike.
